Course Overview
This test allows students to demonstrate the required mathematics knowledge and skills at the grade 11 level. Topics include basic algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and problem solving. INFORMATION: You are required to bring (1) one piece of valid photo identification (a BCIT ID card, a Canadian driver’s license, or passport), (2) proof of payment, (3) a non-programmable scientific calculator (NO graphing calculators, i.e.TI 84 permitted), (4) pen/pencil and eraser. Without the required items, you will not be permitted to write the test and the fee will be forfeited. *(A)*PRACTICE TESTS: Once registered you will receive an email with links to Practice Tests. *(B)* CONFIRM REGISTRATION: Double-check your registration on your myBCIT account to confirm it's the correct date (CRN). If you do not show up on the test date you will lose your test fee. *(C)* REFUND/TRANSFER: The test fee is non-refundable. Transfers - only with department approval and transfer fee applies. Send transferals requests to mathpts@bcit.ca. Transactions will have to be completed with SIES (604.434.1610) no later than one business day (24 hours) PRIOR to the TEST DATE and TIME. Transfers will not be permitted after the test date (NO EXCEPTIONS). *(D)* Registration closes the Friday end of day prior to the test date.
