Alumni event funding program

Over the last five years, thousands of BCIT alumni were engaged through our alumni event funding program. Are you hosting an event that will engage alumni? The BCIT Alumni Association may be able to provide you with funding support. Apply for funding using our form below.

Note: Funding amounts will vary depending on the number of applications and the amount of available funds.

  • Please do not use abbreviations. Remember to include the year, i.e., 2019 Biotechnology Annual General Meeting.
  • Provide an event description below and indicate if the event is open to the general public or is by invitation only, i.e., nursing graduates only.
  • A link where people can register and/or get more information.
  • i.e., student, club member/executive.
  • Applications to be received at minimum 10 weeks prior to the event date. Some exceptions may apply.

  • The Alumni Association will fund no more than 50% of the total cost of the initiative/event to a maximum of $2,500.
  • We are unable to reimburse individuals for funding requests. Please type in only club or organization names. Please speak to the Alumni Relations office immediately if there are any concerns regarding payment.

    • All applicants of approved funding must provide the Alumni Relations office with a detailed post-event report. Failure to provide the report will affect future funding requests. Post-event reports must be emailed to alumni@bcit.ca no later than 30 days after event completion.
