In this course you will learn about the importance of conflict, conflict styles and tools to navigate conflict in the workplace and learning environments. We all have a responsibility for our role in conflict and how we interact with one another. This training will help to empower you to have productive conversations moving forward.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe types of conflict.
- Describe values, needs and identities as they relate to conflict and tools to foster better communication.
- Explain how to avoid making assumptions in conflict and how to disagree respectfully.
- Explain conflict styles.
- Describe the DEAR Model, a tool to address conflict as well as other conflict resolution techniques.
