Official Transcript Request

An official transcript is a legal document that includes all academic history at BCIT and carries the Registrar’s signature.

Before submitting a transcript request

  1. Check your  unofficial transcript: Ensure all final grades are posted and your credential (if awarded) appears. “In progress” means grades are not yet finalized.
  2. If your grades are missing after four weeks: Email records@bcit.ca with your name, Student ID, and course and term details for assistance.
  3. If you attended BCIT prior to 1994: Your grades may not appear online. Email records@bcit.ca with your full name, date of birth, and any details you remember — such as your Student ID (if known), program, or courses — and include a phone number where we can reach you if needed.
  4. Apprentice training transcripts:
    • April 2003 or later: Grades are available in myBCIT; Skilled Trades BC mails full transcripts.
    • Before April 2003: Contact Skilled Trades BC at 1-866-660-6011.
  5. Update your Personal information:  If your legally name has changed, submit Change of Name Form before ordering.
