The VCC Provincial Instructor Diploma (PIDP) provides the instructional skills to teach adults in private and public post-secondary institutions in BC. The PIDP consists of eight core courses and 7 electives for a total of 30 credits.

Vancouver Community College (VCC)  School of Instructor Education (SIE) offers these courses.

Who is eligible for funding?

Both FSA and BCGEU members are eligible for PIDP tuition reimbursement funding.

For FSA members, funding is available for all full-time or part-time members who are currently teaching at BCIT. More info for FSA members can be found below.

Financial support is also available for BCGEU full-time and part-time instructors, and is funded through BCGEU specifically. If you are a full-time BCGEU Vocational Instructor, please visit the PD/CSD (Professional Development/Career and Skills Development) site for information about funding and the reimbursement process.
