Course Overview
You've completed some performance training here at BCIT or you've taken some acting courses but you still need practice to deliver a refined, polished performance that wows the crowd. Or perhaps you want to achieve a higher level of narrating your own video production or make your podcast/presentation sound more professional? Explore a higher level of presentation whether in voiceover, social media, TV or stage with advanced techniques and more sophisticated practice. This next level performance and acting course will increase your creativity and on-air/on-stage comfort levels while you discover just how far you can 'act' your way to success.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Create and utilize a personal warm up that includes all vocal resonators
- Enhance imagination/creativity through group and individual improvisation and acting exercises
- Become adept at Cold Readings
- Demonstrate and utilize Script Breakdown Techniques
- Add direction to refine delivery
- Lift texts off the page into a compelling presentation
- Set and sustain individual goals through self-discipline and self-assessment
- Understand body pockets, good posture & body plastiques to achieve a fully developed character/personna
