Course Overview
Project teams complete an industrial mechatronics project which involves integrating various skills learned throughout the program such as mechanical design and fabrication, electronics, and programming. Teams develop and present written and oral presentations of their proposed and completed designs.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply mechatronics principles to an industrial problem.
- Work as a member of a team on a practical industrial problem.
- Conduct a needs analysis to establish project objectives.
- Establish manufacturing considerations.
- Develop alternative solutions.
- Select the solution to be implemented.
- Prepare status reports and communicate status to the client and project supervisor.
- Plan and schedule the solution of an industrial problem.
- Prepare a final report documenting the project and analyzing the results.
