Course Overview
This course investigates the design, operation, maintenance and repair of various machines. A series of practical lab activities will be used to reinforce theoretical topics discussed in class. Students will learn how to disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble and test mechanized devices using print and digital repair information. Additionally, students will apply logical troubleshooting techniques to diagnose problems within machines and their support systems.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate safe work habits at all times
- Apply orderly, systematic practices during practical work
- Compare and contrast various machine design variations
- Service, repair and overhaul machines by following manufacturer's repair information
- Transfer theoretical knowledge from lectures to the practical lab activities
