An online and self-paced course for students who want to improve their understanding of various mathematical concepts used in the trades and technical workplaces. The course meets Workplace and Apprenticeship Math 11 requirements for BCIT.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Convert and reduce units in Metric, US, and Imperial units.
- Use ratio and proportion to solve practical problems.
- Solve financial problems as well as other everyday problems using percent.
- Differentiate between radicals (roots) and exponents (powers).
- Use scientific notation.
- Transpose, manipulate, simplify, and solve algebraic expressions involving perimeter, area, and/or volume.
- Solve practical problems involving geometry.
- Determine the angles and side lengths of right-angle triangles using trigonometry.
- Solve problems using linear equations.
