Course Overview
Building on the foundations of XLED 1012 and XLED 1022, this advanced course focuses on developing organizational leadership competencies. Participants will explore strategic planning and implementation, communication strategies, organizational performance measurement, and leading change. Through interactive activities, case studies, and experiential learning, participants will deepen their understanding of organizational culture, sub-cultures, and the responsibilities of being part of a leadership team. The course emphasizes accountability, adaptability, and the ability to align people and processes to achieve organizational goals.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Define key components of an organizational strategic plan, including vision, mission, values, goals, and performance measures.
- Explain how organizational culture and sub-cultures influence strategic planning and change initiatives.
- Apply SWOT analysis to evaluate organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in relation to strategic objectives.
- Analyze methods for cascading and embedding strategy throughout different levels of an organization to ensure alignment with goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of communication and human resource sub-strategies in supporting organizational change and performance improvement.
