Course Overview
This is an introductory course on the deveopment and mangement of relational database applications and business analytics. Students will design and implement relational databases using data modelling techniques, normalization, and structured query language (SQL). The course emphasizes hands-on development of database solutions, including querying, data manipulation, and implementation of business workflows using transactions Multi-dimensional data modeling is discussed, and Microsoft Power BI technologies are used to acquire, model, and visualize data.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Design databases using MS SQL server.
- Develop data models using database normalization rules.
- Generate SQL code to search and manipulate databases.
- Construct and run stored procedures.
- Design and implement database-supported business processes.
- Use Power Query to extract, clean, and transform data from SQL server.
