Course details
Provides both the theory and hands-on training required to conduct hearing tests on noise-exposed workers in industry, counsel workers on the results of their hearing tests, advise workers about hearing protection and administer hearing conservation programs in industry. After successfully completing this four-day classroom course, qualified students are eligible to be authorized by the BC Workers' Compensation Board as an industrial audiometric technician in BC.
