Course Overview
Students in this course will focus on modeling a human character using a variety of techniques. Using reference, students will examine the human head, torso, arms, legs and their underlying structure and how they play a role in modeling a human character. The creation of hair will be discussed and a variety of methods for creating different hairstyles will be demonstrated. Students will use industry standard digital sculpting packages and explore how they interact with a 3D production pipeline. Clothing simulation tools will be explored for realistic animation. This course will culminate in the modeling and rendering of a fully posed character.
