Course Overview
Examines the planning stages involved in starting a new business including market, financial and legal feasibility requirements. The student develops a full business plan.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Assess their entrepreneurial potential and increase their understanding of the relationship between personal planning, level of commitment, and the development of an entrepreneurial venture.
- Formulate, design and structure a new venture.
- Develop a comprehensive business plan which can potentially be put into operation upon completion of the course.
- Describe the character, problems, environment and opportunities that exist for the small business sector in Canada.
