Course Overview
This course will introduce students to the basics of shooting and necessary skills required to create high quality video content for social media platforms and websites. Students will learn the stages of production, shot types, how to plan a shoot, storyboarding, and shot composition. They will also learn about the technical aspect of shooting, such as camera settings and lighting.

- Describe the basic physical properties of light and colour.

- Identify shooting techniques required to create video content for social media platforms.
- Demonstrate effective shooting techniques for engaging video storytelling.
- Plan a shoot, create a storyboard, and develop a shot list for a video project.
- Use various shot types effectively in video storytelling.
- Collaborate effectively as a production team to execute a video project.
