Covers the Canadian Electrical Code requirements for the installation, alteration, repair or maintenance of Class 2 circuits limited to rated output of 100 volt amperes. This includes installation of 120 volt branch circuit wiring for the Class 2 power supplies. Course prepares students to write the Class Low Energy Systems (LO) certification exam from the Technical Safety BC (https://www.technicalsafetybc.ca).
This course is designed for students who are planning to write a Class LO/SA Field Safety Representative (e.g. electrical contractor licence) examination from Technical Safety BC. For more information, such as exam eligibility and schedule, please contact Technical Safety BC office at https://www.technicalsafetybc.ca or 1-866-566-7233. Space is limited so early registration is highly recommended. Registration is processed on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis. Check this website frequently to see if someone de-registers if the course becomes full. In the case of course cancellation, students will be notified. A statement of completion certificate will be issued to students who successfully complete the course.
