This course is designed to review the National Plumbing Code for a better understanding of design and installation of plumbing systems in BC. the course is designed for plumbers, engineers and mechanical designers.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Identify and describe Plumbing Code terminology and definitions.
Identify and describe drainage and venting systems.
Identify and determine venting components, rules and regulations.
Identify and determine sanitary components, rules and regulations.
Identify and determine storm and combined drainage system components, rules and regulations.
Identify and determine wet venting rules, regulations and sizing requirements.
Identify and determine circuit venting rules, regulations and sizing requirements.
Identify and size sanitary, storm and combined systems.
Identify and describe potable water systems.
Identify and size potable water piping systems to code requirements.
