Self as Leader - is designed to enable participants to develop their self-awareness including an awareness of our perceptions, assumptions and biases. Additionally, participants will begin to explore what it means to lead in their specific context and their specific strengths and challenges in doing so. Participants will have an opportunity to explore emotional intelligence and its relationship to leadership effectiveness in addition to the opportunity to develop their ability to better communicate with and give feedback to those they lead and work with. This interactive, applied workshop uses a combination of group interaction, practice sessions lecturettes, and experiential activities.
