This assessment evaluates English competency and writing skills, current events awareness, and industry insight and aptitude. The passing mark is 60%. Local applicants must register online to write the assessment at BCIT's Burnaby Campus. Out of town applicants must contact the Part-time Studies Program Assistant Angelina_Shine@bcit.ca to make arrangements to write the assessment remotely. Results will be posted online within ten business days of exam date at https://my.bcit.ca/cp/home/displaylogin
Prospective applicants must write this exam BEFORE applying to the program and may only register for and write the Exam once per annual application. You must bring one piece of valid photo identification (A BCIT ID card, driver's license, or passport) and your registration receipt as proof of payment. Without valid picture ID and proof of payment, you will not be permitted to write the exam and your registration fee will be forfeited. The exam fee is non-refundable. Students MUST arrive 20 minutes prior to exam start time.
