Transform lives and build a brighter future

Help students overcome barriers

Every day, BCIT students work tirelessly to create a better future—for themselves, their families, and our communities. But with rising living costs and unexpected financial pressures, too many face the heartbreaking choice between continuing their education and covering basic needs.

That’s why BCIT Foundation, in partnership with BCIT’s Student Life team, created the Student Wellbeing Action Fund to ensure no student has to give up on their dreams. Your gift directly supports critical initiatives that help learners stay focused, healthy, and resilient:

  • On-campus vouchers for hot, nutritious meals
  • Furnished emergency housing, equipped with essentials
  • Emergency funding for students facing unforeseen expenses

These programs are already making a difference, but the demand is growing fast. Your donation can help extend vital support beyond current resource limits and ensure help is always within reach.

Even a small contribution can make a big difference:

  • $20 provides a student with a hot, healthy meal
  • $150 covers nutritious meals for a week
  • $375 offers one week of safe, short-term housing
  • $1,125 provides housing and essentials for three weeks
