Course Overview
In this hands-on course students research and produce their own video content using ethical storytelling principles. They also have opportunities to be on-air hosts and show producers. Students with a minimum average of 70% have the opportunity to participate in an industry placement as part of this course.
Prerequisite(s)
- Successful completion of all other Level 1 and Level 2 courses in the Journalism program.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate collaboration during show production.
- Produce elements for a live TV show.
- Apply storytelling principles to create focused video content.
- Produce content to deadline.
- Demonstrate effective videography skills using professional video cameras.
- Demonstrate effective video editing skills using digital editing software
