Course Overview
Provides theory and practical training in safe utility-terrain vehicle (UTV) operation for industrial and recreational users. Taught using the Canadian Safety Council program, drivers learn to safely operate, load, unload and transport UTVs. The course also covers protective gear, environmental concerns, local laws and safety techniques. Successful participants will receive CSC certification.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Understand safety gear requirements.
- Complete pre-drive inspections.
- Safely start and stop the UTV.
- Perform gradual and quick turns.
- Stop, u-turn, and traverse on hills.
- Perform an emergency stop.
- Drive over obstacles.
- Be aware of off-road vehicle regulations.
