Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
Module 1 - Introduction and Trip Generation
- Describe the various modes of transportation systems.
- Describe current transportation issues.
- Describe the transportation analysis and the sequential demand-forecasting models.
- Describe the trip generation model and perform trip generation analysis.
Module 2 - Trip Distribution and Modal Choice
- Describe and apply the trip distribution methodology as a part of the sequential-demand forecasting process.
- Describe and apply the trip distribution methodology as a part of the sequential-demand forecasting process.
- Describe and apply the gravity model.
- Calibrate a Gravity Model.
- Apply modal choice models in trip generation and distribution.
