In this course, students will learn how to safely use a drill press, power saw, grinding machine and hydraulic press to perform machining operations to drawing specifications.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Identify safety hazards associated with operating support machines.
- Use grinders and abrasives to smooth surfaces, edges and sharpen tools.
- Use power saws to cut internal and external profiles.
- Use drilling machines to drill, ream and counter-sink holes.
- Describe the operation of hydraulic and arbor presses.
