Course Overview
Sonography Clinical 1 is the first clinical course and is designed to immerse the student into the clinical environment. Students in this course gain hands-on experience in the settings of abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, vascular, superficial, and cardiac sonography. Emphasis is placed on patient care, inter-professional collaboration, communication, and safe practice. Students will reflect on typical departmental workflow, sonographer tasks, and the role of other health care professionals in the environment.
