Course Overview

Learn to think like a professional editor while you create your story. In this workshop you learn to effectively sequence your edits for good visual storytelling. In a hands-on learning style, you edit your own story that you created in BCST 1196 ‘Visual Storytelling Workshop.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

Implement the elements of good visual storytelling.
Prepare and storyboard a broadcast-style script.
Edit video footage into a compelling TV story using digital editing software.
