Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Identify the major structures of the abdomen and pelvis in all three fundamental body planes.
- Describe the position, orientation and anatomic relationships amongst the organs within the abdominopelvic cavity.
- Explain some of the functional, diagnostic and pathological significance of these relationships.
- Apply that knowledge in generating and interpreting sectional images in the clinical setting.
