A course for students working on a treatment, TV series pilot script, or feature film screenplay, who want to go from a handful of scenes or a rough first draft to a more finished product by vetting their material with a professional script consultant in a workshop milieu.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate how to write a solid, correctly formatted, script for a series for television, the web, or for a feature film.
- Articulate the theme, or core message, of their story through the transformational journey of their central character (the protagonist).
- Demonstrate how to write fully realized characters and understand the core dynamics between them.
- Maximize their character’s stakes and their story’s dramatic elements.
- Demonstrate how to write dialogue that is realistic and reflects character.
