Course Overview
Prepares participants for the Residential Steep Roofing Certificate of Qualification and refreshes theoretical knowledge of the trade. The course will also cover roof design and structure, flashing, metal tile and and shingles, asphalt and fiber shingles, shake shingles, concrete and composite tiles, slate, failure and repairs. Contact the Minstry of Labour (Industry Training and Apprenticeship Commission) to determine eligibility and to schedule an examination.
Prerequisite(s)
- Minimum of 4 1/2 years experience in the trade.
