Course Overview
This course provides for the formulation of your research topic or question, review and critique of relevant literature, and obtaining approval from project advisor(s) before commencing research methodology. It requires you to prepare an independent proposal based on the research question. The course examines the principles of clinical trials as a method to advance medical practice and other forms of experimental design commonly found in medical research, and the importance of research in professional development. This course enables you to complete research under guidance from committee of advisors. You will submit for evaluation a research paper, poster or other works on the analysis of the results, findings, and conclusions.
