Course Overview
This course is suitable for Students with little or no knowledge of refrigeration systems, and those looking to improve their skillset or explore the trade. Refrigeration System Fundamentals is a combination of in class lectures, shop practical’s, and online learning. The Student will learn about the components of a refrigeration system, how the components work together to create an operating system. The shop portion will teach the student how to install measuring devices on an operating system to determine system operating parameters. The Student will have online access to course material.
Prerequisite(s)
- HVAC 0145 - CFC Emissions in Refrigeration (may be taken concurrently) and a good understanding of English, both written and spoken.
