A course designed to provide you with the theoretical understanding and practical skills needed to test, adjust, and install components of an internal combustion engine including: ignition, induction system, supercharger, turbocharger, exhaust, carburetors, and fuel injectors.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Explain battery and magneto ignition systems.
- Explain high tension and low tension magnetos.
- Disassemble, inspect, reassemble and test magnetos.
- Perform the installation and timing of a magneto.
- Describe induction systems.
- Describe the operation of supercharging and turbo-supercharging systems.
- Determine engine horsepower.
- Describe exhaust systems.
- Inspect and leak test exhaust systems.
- Describe principles and characteristics of fuel metering systems.
- Describe aviation fuels.
- Disassemble, reassemble and adjust carburetors.
- Describe the operation of fuel injection systems.
- Troubleshoot fuel injection systems.
