Course Overview
This two-day intensive workshop demonstrates basic announcing skills, transferable to other forms of professional voice work in radio, television, freelance announcing, or corporate boardroom meetings/presentations. This fast paced and fun workshop builds confidence in the voice as a professional instrument. Be prepared for much interaction in a classroom and studio environment.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Articulate a basic understanding of the vocal anatomy (physiological and psychological).
- Demonstrate correct and healthy vocal technique.
- Summarize the steps involved in dissecting a commercial script for voice-over.
- Summarize the steps involved in dissecting a news script for presentation.
- Understand the basic demographics of a radio and/or television station's target audience.
- Illustrate basic on-camera announcing techniques, including working with a TelePrompTer.
