Course Overview
This three-part series on Quality Management in Construction stresses practical implementation of 9001-2000, and Quality Auditing. This second course includes development of a Work Method per ISO 9001, and vigorous review of case histories and non-conformances. Total Quality Management is introduced as a tool for corporate Quality Management.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion the student will be able to:
- Prepare a Work Method for a familiar construction activity.
- Evaluate the application and benefits of Total Quality Management within a corporate structure.
- Interpret case histories and the consequences of poor quality practices.
- Apply expertise and knowledge learned to the role of QC Representative for a construction company.
The student will also practice communication skills, both written and verbal, through assignments, classroom interaction, and presentations.
