Course Overview
This course is designed for students who would like to acquire more industrial oriented skills. Focuses on the wiring, programming, implementation and uses of programmable relays. This course also offers commercial and high end residential applications. Ladder logic and Function Block programming are the languages covered.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Develop ladder logic diagrams from schematic diagrams.
- Develop simple function block diagrams from schematic diagrams.
- Describe the operation and characteristics of smart (programmable) relays.
- Utilize smart relays for industrial applications.
- Utilize smart relays for commercial applications.
- Utilize smart relays for residential applications.
