Course details
This course is designed for those working in industrial railways and for BC industrial railways whose operations come in contact with a main track. This course will provide an update and review of the current applicable Occupancy Control System (OCS) and Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) rules from the federal Canadian Rail Operating Rules (CROR).
Prerequisite(s)
- 85% in RAIL 0123
- If you have not completed RAIL0123 but have current CROR certification, contact the department for approval to register.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Identify, explain, and safely operate within OCS and CTC rules from the federal Canadian Rail Operating Rules, as they pertain to British Columbia Industrial Railways, shortlines, sidings, and spurs who are in contact with main track.
