Course details
This course is designed for those working in Industrial railways. The course will provide industrial railway operators a review of the current Canadian Rail Operating Rules (CROR) that governs provincially regulated industrial railways. Students will prepare for, and write a CROR level examination for rules pertaining to non-main track operations. Successful students will receive a BCIT Statement of Completion, and a card stating: "This student has met the certification requirements of BCIT Railway in Canadian Rail Operating Rules for non-main track operations." According to Canadian Rail Operating Rules (Rule A, i and vii), recertification is mandatory every three years.
