Course Overview
This course is designed to support the topics covered in NMED 3100. Students will apply knowledge and practice clinical skills related to common diagnostic procedures through various lab simulations in the radiopharmacy, SPECT/CT gamma camera, and image-processing workstation. Students will also develop clinical reasoning skills and decision-making while working in a collaborative team environment. Students will be assessed on accuracy, safety, and professionalism during each lab activity. Clinical procedures covered in this course include the following categories: gastrointestinal and endocrine.
