Course Overview
This course prepares students to be responsible for planning, installing, configuring, managing, and supporting a network infrastructure using an industry current Microsoft server and workstation platform. Building upon topics in CISA 1130 and CISA 1230, this course focuses on server and workstation deployment, infrastructure services, and Active Directory security features.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the functionality of Microsoft Active Directory.
- Discuss basic security issues that exist within a computer network.
- Describe the authentication and authorization features of Active Directory.
- Deploy Windows workstations within a secure Active Directory environment.
- Describe infrastructure services and server requirements.
- Develop a plan for application resilience and security.
- Assign multiple roles to servers.
- Deploy BitLocker.
- Implement secure remote access connections.
- Deploy certificate services.
- Activate and use Remote Desktop features.
- Delegate administration tasks.
- Extract information from the Reliability and Performance console.
- Configure and implement auditing.
