WOOD 2141 is a three-day workshop consisting of a series of field trips to various wood processing facilities. This course supplements the classroom-based learning and provides topics for further discussion.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- Compare various manufacturing processes.
- Select the most appropriate manufacturing processes for a given log diet and product profile.
- Describe and evaluate mill processing equipment.
- Prepare mill flow diagrams.
- Analyze differing management styles and contrast them company to company.
