Course Overview
An introduction to the are of process automation and instrumentation. Pressure and level measurement equipment (including smart transmitters) are discussed and typical industrial applications are reviewed. The basic elements of closed loop feedback control systems is presented and students will set up on/off and proportional control systems to a typical industrial process.
