Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge and understanding of chartwork.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of meteorology.
- Understand the fundamentals of ship stability.
- Accurately state the rules of the International Convention for the Prevention Of Collisions at Sea with Canadian Modifications.
- Be conversant with pertinent Marine Acts and Regulations.
- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge and understanding of electronic navigation instruments.
- Demonstrate and understanding and interpretation of general seamanship knowledge.
