Course details
The student will complete the industry project in a workplace setting and choose a project that involves applied research or technology transfer. The project will be innovative, experimental or exploratory in nature. Activities can range from directed study projects to the preparation of a proposal, project plan and the development of formal deliverables - including a final report demonstrating the practical application of knowledge and skills in the manufacturing sector.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply specialty knowledge in a 'real life' project, in the areas of either applied research, technology transfer or other approved project under the supervision of a committee.
