Course details
Provides detailed instruction in the theory and practice of liquid penetrant inspection including the capabilities and limitations. Practical lab work reinforces inspection techniques in accordance with codes and/or standards plus interpretation of results. This course meets the requirements of CGSB Standard 48.9712-2006 (Table 1). Course requires that students can use a calculator, manipulate formulae, apply basic trigonometry (sine, cosine, tan, arcsine, arccosine, arc tan) and use exponential functions.
