This course introduces the LEED® Rating System and provides an overview of strategies used to create greener building. Sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality will be explored.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Understand the need to implement green construction processes.
- Describe the key components of the LEED rating system.
- Develop strategies to achieve LEED certification.
- Determine the appropriate LEED rating system for a project.
