Course Overview
This course further develops an understanding of the international business landscape and the business issues critical to any organization becoming globally active (building on the international trade basics introduced in GTTM 1353) and then introduces students to specific unique characteristics of doing business globally, followed by a review of the various global business strategies. Emphasis will be place on the activities of markets analysis, entry and the development of business strategies for a firm with international objectives.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Research outside sources in the international business community
- Build on existing skills to identify comparative advantages and disadvantages in the international marketplace
- Develop and prepare an international market analysis
- Prepare an introductory international marketing plan
- Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of specific international business strategies
