Course Overview
Determination of required clamp force, clamp losses, rules of thumb and mold area are covered. Injection capacity, injection molding force, mold capacity and shot size are reviewed. Discussions include spiral test molds, screws for injection molding, material handling and start-up parameters of an injection molding machine.
