Course Overview
This is a one credit course may be taken as part of a field study or exchange program that is usually less than a full term. Typically the student will be required to produce a report and/or presentation that is equivalent to a single term assignment that would have a weight of 25% to 35% of the total grade in a typical 3 credit, one-term course. The student, with approval of the program head, may use this course to supplement the learning in an exchange programs where transfer credits will be awarded, the student may take this course for additional credit as long as there are deliverables and learning outcomes in addition to those earned in the exchange program. Provides the opportunity to pursue independent studies in a particular area of interest in a business field. The student and faculty supervisor determine the learning intentions, activities and evaluation strategies for the course. Students may apply this course to the elective requirements of their degree program.
Prerequisite(s)
- Admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration program and permission from the Program Head.
