Course Overview
This one day seminar focuses on the global issue of human trafficking and its relationship to forensic health care, law enforcement, legal and governmental systems, education and community resources. The day moves from global perspective of human trafficking to provincial and local initiatives taking place to address this public health issue.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Discuss global, national and local issues surrounding human trafficked people.
- Describe laws surrounding human trafficked people, international and national.
- Describe current services available to the trafficked person in British Columbia.
