Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Analyze current financial spending habits, produce an annual budget, and showcase an implementation strategy.
- Research government & private funding opportunities for apprentices.
- Understand various tax planning, tax strategies, and tax implications on common scenarios to trade apprentices.
- Describe how and when income is taxed in various Canadian tax-advantaged accounts.
- Recognize implications of different types of short-term & long-term debt.
- Specify saving and investment options and levels of risk.
- Identify an array of technology tools available to assist in implementing financial plan.
